Better battery 20 amp

This battey has more power and longer range than the 14.5 battery. There should be an option to buy TK 1 Folding with this battery. Too bad there is a reall on this battery.

Game changer!

Bought this as a spare battery for longer rides. Super impressed, I went 17 miles, very little pedaling and mostly at 15+ Mph. When I finished I still had 5 bars.

Bigger is better

I have the original TK1 folding trike and this battery fits perfectly and last a full day longer + for me. I take my puppy out 8 miles a day.

It comes attached to a mounting plate ( with wires )that you just slip off like you do if it was on the bike. No need to remove screws

Original battery charger that comes with the TK1 works the same.

The locking battery keys are differently keyed so you will need to keep those handy to lock and unlock the battery. I put colored tape on each key and each battery to differentiate which key goes to which battery.
You do not have to lock the batteries in place to use. It is just a good idea to secure it to the bike as they are not cheap.

Love the new battery and now I can always have one fully charged and ready to go.

More Distance

The battery slides off the rear plate by simply unlocking it just as you do to remove the battery when mounted on the TK1 Folding e-trike. You do not need to remove any screws. Requires no additional Tech Support to use. It arrived with an approximate 3/4 charge so you can test it on the e-trike immediately. The only negative is does not come with any battery documentation.

A workhorse!

This will definitely keep me going all day. This is my primary battery now and I carry the original as a backup. I have my sights on a 40 mile trip on the trail and no worries of battery failure!

Extra Battery

The battery is fantastic however, if it comes with wires it will not work on the TDK1. The plate in the back needs to be removed by taking out 8 screws and then it will work. A BIG Shout out to the techs for their support! Ride on!!
