MC 350 Electric Trike

Assembly is tedious and took a whole day to put it together. Max range with peddle assist only goes 12 miles on a full charge which is 1/2 the advertised range. Have to save to get an extra battery

It's a no-frills e-trike so if that's what you're looking for, it's a decent purchase, mostly because of the low price. Required the most assembly of any bike or e-bike I've ever purchased so unless you have confidence in your abilities, you'll need to pay a shop to build it, and get rid of the value of that cheaper pricetag. Frame is sturdy enough but you feel every imperfection in the road and the ride can be noisy as a result. Acceleration from the battery is surprisingly strong with the wattage but even with the better battery, range can't keep up with virtually any other e-bike or e-trike, and expect the lower end of the range (even with lower assist levels like my wife uses). Since this is around $500 cheaper than nearly every other e-trike from a reputable company, much of the lack of features, finesse and finish should be expected.

If you keep all that in mind, it'll meet your expectations.

My sister bought me an etrike understanding that it was mostly assembled. I have metastatic prostate cancer and just began hospice, so I can not assemble it myself.

Mt trusted bike shop charge me extra because of all the extra work. $300 instead of $150.

I hate getting gouged and think that Mooncool should give me a $150 rebate.

I still have boxes arriving and just assemble that seat and backrest this morning.

I hope it will all be worth it and hope to ride it soon

It took me several hours to completely assemble the trike, but it finally all came together on the 4th or 5th day. It works as advertised, with a smooth ride and plenty of power from the adequate battery. This replaces a Honda scooter I purchased earlier to ride to the mailbox and back. I have a 300 yard driveway. Will keep the trike and sell the scooter.

I purchased the E-Trike for my 10 year old great grandson. It is easy for him to maneuver and he loves riding it. It only took him about 15 minutes to completely master the controls. My husband also likes riding it. We did have it assembled professionally. It is not something a novice can easily do. Also, the basket is very flimsy and I wouldn't recommend riding with anything in it. That being said, overall we are very pleased with the purchase.

I was a little concerned when the big box arrived without a second box, as expected. Tracking didn't show the boxes would arrive on two separate days. I reied calling and emailed support on a weekday, and no one answered phone or email. Disappointed in support. After second box arrived I took them to bike store to be assembled, because I wanted it done right. It was so cute when I saw mine put together. Got it home and tried to figure out the computer for PAS. It is so confusing. The manual is very detailed for how to assemble so disappointed there aren't instructions for the computer. Finally after watching a few YouTube reviews, I got it working and went for a spin. So much to learn about shifting and using PAS manually. But I am very happy I bought an etrike, and can't wait for better weather to get it outside again.
