TK1 Folding Electric Trike

I received my TK1 trike three weeks ago. I was very impressed with how well it was packaged to help eliminate problems in shipping. It also wasn’t to difficult to finish assembly. After several rides I have to say I love it! It’s built really well & will give me a chance to get more exercise.

I have not had the trike long enough to provide a long-use review, as to continuous quality and sturdiness. Therefore, I can only provide a limited feedback as to first impressions and experience so far.
I received package and trike in good shape, had chosen extra shipping insurance just in case, and it was carefully packaged with all the parts buffered and wrapped, as I have seen on multiple online videos. Assembling it was relatively easy, once one uses common sense over some of the instructions, which is often the norm with most items that require some or more assembly.
Once ready for first drive, I had no problems figuring out the settings and adjusting speed as I went. Good take-off power and easy to maintain even slow speed using only the hand-lever.
I have two issues with the trike that I hope the manufacturer will take into consideration, which are the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.
I purchased this model specifically to be able to use on different surfaces, as I live in the country and not city. The fat tire model may have been a bit better for my surrounding, but I needed a folding model, hence the TK1 folding E trike wa my choice.
Unfortunately it is not quite as stable on uneven ground, or when encountering grooves or slants on paved roads, as I had hoped for, even when traversing at low speeds. On those the trike tends to pull aside or even tilts, if one does not anticipate the surface changes and has a firm grip on the handlebars, as well as changing body position by leaning into the opposite direction.
My other issue - and that one is a major one for me - is the seat, which is very uncomfortable to sit on for more than just a few minutes only standing still, never mind driving. The problem with the saddle it is that it is very firm, slippery and tilted forward just a bit, causing my body to slide forward and I am having to continuously re-adjust my sitting position, especially when actively paddling. (I am about 5.7 and neither over-nor underweight).
I have ordered a padded seat-cover which I hope will lessen the noticeable discomfort. But considering the general good build quality of the trike itself, I am a bit disappointed in the uncomfortable seat that comes with it. I know MOONCOOL offers a wider seat, but that is another expense that should not be necessary.
On another positive side, as to customer relationship I can say that they have been keeping in touch with me via email so far by quickly responding to my questions and concerns since I pre-ordered the trike at the beginning of March 2024.
In conclusion I would say that so far I don't regret the purchase, hoping that all future maintenance will be easy and without troubles, and enjoy riding it - albeit very carefully on any surface.If general driving stability could be increased and it came with a more comfortable seat, I would give it a 5-star rating.

I love the trike. I like the helical motor and its location. I love the looks of the bike and it came with two baskets. It was super simple to put it together. It has plenty of power for me. The only thing I don’t like is it doesn’t have a detailed owners manual. There are some tweaks I needed but no directions on how to tweak the break levers and the front suspension.
